“[BETTER IS THE END OF A THING THAN THE BEGINNING THEREOF]: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit” (Ecclesiastes 7:8).
Let us be reminded that the Apostle Paul said: “[FOR TO ME TO LIVE IS CHRIST, AND TO DIE IS GAIN]” (Philippians 1:21).
“A GOOD name is better than precious ointment;
[AND THE DAY OF DEATH THAN THE DAY OF ONE’S BIRTH]” (Ecclesiastes 7:1).
“It is better to go to the house of mourning,
than to go to the house of feasting: [FOR THAT IS THE END OF ALL MEN; AND THE
LIVING WILL LAY IT TO HIS HEART]” (Ecclesiastes 7:2).
“Be not righteous over much; neither make
thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?
Be not over much wicked, neither be thou
foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?
It is good that thou shouldest take hold of
this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that [FEARETH] God
shall come forth of them all” (Ecclesiastes 7:16-18).
“[LET US HEAR THE CONCLUSION] of the whole
matter: [FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS]: for this is the whole duty of
man. For God shall bring EVERY WORK INTO JUDGMENT], with every secret thing,
whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).
“[DEPART FROM EVIL, AND DO GOOD]; and dwell
for evermore” (Psalms 37:27).
“The [FEAR] of the LORD is a [FOUNTAIN OF
LIFE], to depart from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:27).
“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM
EVERLASTING, AND TO EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).
