JESUS says: “[LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS, AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN]” (Matthew 5:16).
We are GOD’S ELECT the CHILDREN OF GOD by the FAITH of JESUS CHRIST (Galatians 3:24). Therefore, since our Lord JESUS is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD, he encourages us as his FOLLOWERS to be examples of HIS LIGHT SHINING IN THE WORLD.
JESUS also says: “[I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD: HE
THAT FOLLOWETH ME SHAL]L not walk in darkness, but shall have the [LIGHT OF
LIFE]” (John 8:12).
“[IF ANY MAN WILL COME AFTER ME], [LET HIM DENY
HIMSELF], and [TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY], and [FOLLOW ME]” (Luke 9:23).
“[AS LONG AS I AM IN THE WORLD, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE
WORLD]” (John 9:5).
“[YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD]. A city that is set
on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a
bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the
house. [LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS,
AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN]” (Matthew 5:14-16).
“[FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK]; for it is your Father’s
good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
“I am with you alway, even unto the [END OF THE
WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
