JESUS’ COMING will be SUDDEN with SHOCK and SURPRISE: “[FOR WHEN THEY SHALL SAY, PEACE AND SAFETY; THEN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION COMETH UPON THEM], as travail upon a woman with child; [AND THEY SHALL NOT ESCAPE]” (1 Thessalonians 5:3)!

JESUS says: “Behold, I [COME AS A THIEF]. Blessed is he that [WATCHETH], and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).

“[AND, BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY]; and my reward is with me, to give [EVERY MAN] according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12).

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

“Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. [WATCH] ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at [MIDNIGHT], or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, [WATCH]” (Mark 13:33, 35-37).

“[FOR AS A SNARE SHALL IT COME ON ALL THEM THAT DWELL ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH].

[WATCH] ye therefore, and [PRAY ALWAYS], that ye may be accounted [WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS] that shall come to pass, [AND TO STAND BEFORE] the Son of man” (Luke 21:35-36).

“The day of the Lord will come as [A THIEF IN THE NIGHT]; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).

“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as [A THIEF]. Ye are all the children of light” (1 Thessalonians 5:4–5).

“[THEREFORE LET US NOT SLEEP], as do others; but let us [WATCH AND BE SOBER]. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [FOR GOD HATH NOT APPOINTED US TO WRATH], but [TO OBTAIN SALVATION] by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:6-9).

“Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen” (Romans 15:33).

“He which testifieth these things saith, [SURELY I COME QUICKLY]. Amen. [EVEN SO, COME], Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation 22:20-21).
