The LORD God and the Lord Jesus is our SHEPHERD, and as their SHEEP now called in the Kingdom of God we must be reminded to regularly recite (Psalm 23, KJV) to comfort ourselves to OVERCOME the darkness to the End of the world (Matthew 24:35-36).
“Know ye that the LORD he is God: [IT IS HE THAT HATH MADE US], and not we ourselves; [WE ARE HIS PEOPLE, AND THE SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE]” (Psalm 100:3).
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[HE MAKETH ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES]: he leadeth me beside the still
waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the
paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
[YEA, THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE
SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL]: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy
staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the
presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
[SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL
THE DAYS OF MY LIFE]: and [I WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE] of the LORD [FOR EVER]”
(Psalm 23:1-6).
Jesus says: “[I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD]: the
good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep” (John 10:11).
“[MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND I KNOW THEM, AND
THEY FOLLOW ME]: And [I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE]; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave
them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my
Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:27-30).
“[FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK]; for it is your
Father’s [GOOD PLEASURE TO GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM]” (Luke 12:32).
“I am with you alway, [EVEN UNTO THE END OF
THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
