We may sometimes get impatient after we have prayed that our prayers are not being answered by God. However, we must PRAY, WAIT and TRUST IN GOD!
“[WAIT] on the LORD: [BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN THINE HEART]: wait, I say, on the LORD” (Psalms 27:14).
We must therefore NOT become troubled when our prayers are
not immediately answered by God.
“[BUT THEY THAT WAIT] upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be
weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
“The LORD hear thee in the [DAY OF TROUBLE]; the name of the
God of Jacob defend thee” (Psalms 20:1).
“The LORD is [GOOD, A STRONG HOLD IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE]; and
[HE KNOWETH THEM THAT TRUST IN HIM]” (Nahum 1:7).
“[TRUST IN HIM AT ALL TIMES]; ye people, [POUR OUT YOUR HEART
BEFORE HIM]: God is a refuge for us” (Psalm 62:8).
“Many are the [AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS]: but the LORD [DELIVERETH HIM OUT OF THEM ALL]” (Psalm 34:19).
“The LORD [TRIETH THE RIGHTEOUS]: but [THE WICKED AND HIM
THAT LOVETH VIOLENCE HIS SOUL HATETH]” (Psalm 11:5).
“The LORD hath [MADE ALL THINGS FOR HIMSELF: YEA, EVEN THE
WICKED FOR THE DAY OF EVIL]. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination
to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished” (Proverbs
16:5-5).
“[FRET NOT THYSELF BECAUSE OF EVILDOERS], neither be thou
envious against the workers of iniquity
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the
LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea,
thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight
themselves in the abundance of peace..” (Psalm 37:1, 9-11).
“For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast
destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
But [IT IS GOOD] for me to draw near to God: I have put my
[TRUST] in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works” (Psalm 73:27-28).
“Blessed be the LORD for [EVERMORE]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm
89:52).
Our Lord Jesus Christ reminds us says: “[GOD IS A SPIRIT: AND
THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH]; [BUT THE HOUR
COMETH, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN
SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH]: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” (John 4:24,
23).
“[WHEN THOU PRAYEST], enter into thy closet, and when thou
hast shut thy door, [PRAY TO THY FATHER WHICH IS IN SECRET; AND THY FATHER
WHICH SEETH IN SECRET SHALL REWARD THEE OPENLY]” (Matthew 6:6).
“And whatsoever ye shall [ASK IN MY NAME], that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13).
“And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek,
and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. [FOR EVERY ONE THAT
ASKETH RECEIVETH; AND HE THAT SEEKETH FINDETH; AND TO HIM THAT KNOCKETH IT
SHALL BE OPENED]” (Luke 11:9–10).
“Therefore [TAKE NO THOUGHT], saying, [WHAT SHALL WE EAT]?
or, [WHAT SHALL WE DRINK]? or, [WHEREWITHAL SHALL WE BE CLOTHED]? But [SEEK YE
FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE
ADDED UNTO YOU]” (Matthew 6:31).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might
have peace. In the world ye shall have [TRIBULATION]: but be of good cheer; I
have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“[FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK; FOR IT IS YOUR FATHER’S GOOD
PLEASURE TO GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM]” (Luke 12:32).
“I am with you alway, [EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD]. Amen”
(Matthew 28:20).
