“[FOR THERE IS ONE GOD, AND ONE MEDIATOR] between God and men, [THE MAN CHRIST JESUS]: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

“[JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]” (Hebrews 13:8), says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; because strait is the gate, and [NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE], and [FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT]” (Matthew 7:13–14).

“For many are called, but [FEW ARE CHOSEN]” (Matthew 22:14).

“[NO MAN CAN COME TO ME], except the Father which hath sent me draw him: [AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).

“[IN HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH GOD], that cannot lie, [PROMISED BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN]” (Titus 1:2). After Noah and his family came out of the ark after the great flood, God promised that the earth will not perish again by a great flood. God declared to Noah: “[I DO SET MY BOW IN THE CLOUD], and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh” (Genesis 9:13, 15).
