We must everyday keep PEACEFUL and be guided by the word of GOD: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Whenever we have been done wrong by someone because we are human, at some point in our lifetime we have gotten very angry. However, as we continue to grow in the FAITH, we now know to keep PEACEFUL because the word of God says:
“[CEASE FROM ANGER], and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in
any wise to do evil” (Psalm 37:8).
If we do get angry the word of God also says: “[BE YE ANGRY,
AND SIN NOT]: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to
the devil” (Ephesians 4:26).
“[JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]”
(Hebrews 13:8), says: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might
have [PEACE]. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have
overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and
a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever
shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy
coat, let him have thy cloke also.
And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him
twain.
Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow
of thee turn not thou away.
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse
you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in
heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth
rain on the just and on the unjust” (Matthew 5:38-39-45).
The Apostle Paul also said: “[BE YE THEREFORE FOLLOWERS OF
GOD, AS DEAR CHILDREN]; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and
hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a
sweetsmelling savour” (Ephesians 4:27, 5:1-2).
“Now the [GOD OF PEACE], that brought again from the dead our
Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ;
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (Hebrews 13:20-21).
“And the very [GOD OF PEACE] sanctify you wholly; and I pray
God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
“Now the [GOD OF PEACE] be with you all. Amen” (Romans 15:33).
