By the word of God this heaven and earth will PASS AWAY! (Psalm 75:3, 7) (Isaiah 65:17) (Mark 13:31) (1 Peter 21:33) (2 Peter 3:10) (Revelation 21:1-3). JESUS says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but [MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY]” (Matthew 24:35).
“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for [NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH], wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13).
In this generation, with the many distractions from talking,
typing and texting on the latest smart phone device, tablet or laptop, the word
of God is being ignored by untold numbers of people across this earth.
Peter. Jesus’ disciple warned us all to bring into remembrance
what happened in the old time to those who ignored the word of God, saying: “For
if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and
delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And
spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of
righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly” (2 Peter
2:4-5).
Jesus warned that his COMING will be as a thief in the night,
said: “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into
the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall
also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37-39).
“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat,
they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same
day that Lot went out of Sodom, [IT RAINED FIRE AND BRIMSTONE] from heaven, and
[DESTROYED THEM ALL]” (Luke 17:28–29).
“[THE TIME IS FULFILLED], and the Kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “I came not to call the
righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32).
“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but
the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).
“[EXCEPT YE REPENT, YE SHALL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH]” (Luke
13:3).
Peter, Jesus’ disciple also explained said: “[THE LORD IS NOT
SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISE], as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance.
[BUT THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT;
IN THE WHICH THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY WITH A GREAT NOISE, AND THE ELEMENTS
SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT, THE EARTH ALSO AND THE WORKS THAT ARE THEREIN
SHALL BE BURNED UP].
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what
manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens
being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent
heat?” (2 Peter 3:9-12).
“[NEVERTHELESS WE, ACCORDING TO HIS PROMISE, LOOK FOR NEW
HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH, WHEREIN DWELLETH RIGHTEOUSNESS]. Wherefore, beloved,
seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in
peace, without spot, and blameless” (2 Peter 3:13-14).
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of
our Lord Jesus Christ unto [ETERNAL LIFE]” (Jude 1:21).
“[FOR SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD MEN HAVE NOT HEARD,
NOR PERCEIVED BY THE EAR, NEITHER HATH THE EYE SEEN], O God, beside thee, what
[HE HATH PREPARED FOR HIM THAT WAITETH FOR HIM]” (Isaiah 64:4).
“[OUR SOUL WAITETH] for the LORD: he is our help and our
shield” (Psalm 33:20). “It is good that a man should [BOTH HOPE AND QUIETLY
WAIT] for the [SALVATION] of the LORD” (Lamentation 3:26).
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and
the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” (2 Corinthians 13:14).
