GOSPEL OF GOD and of JESUS CHRIST is the GOSPEL OF LIGHT: The disciple John said: “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the [DOCTRINE OF CHRIST], hath not God. [HE THAT ABIDETH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST, HE HATH BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON]” (2 John 1:9).

The Apostle Paul also expressly said: “[BUT IF OUR GOSPEL BE HID, IT IS HID TO THEM THAT ARE LOST]” (2 Corinthians 4:3).

“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the [CROSS OF CHRIST]: whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things” (Philippians 3:18–19).

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, [LEST THE LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM].

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

[FOR GOD, WHO COMMANDED THE LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS], hath shined in our hearts, [TO GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST]” (2 Corinthians 4:4-6).

We must be very careful to take heed to BELIEVE the word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ, and NOT the commandments of men or church doctrines.

Even in Jesus’ time here on earth he clearly pointed to this fact when he said: “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. [BUT IN VAIN THEY DO WORSHIP ME, TEACHING FOR DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN]” (Matthew 15:8–9).

When our Lord Jesus was asked about his doctrine. “Jesus answered them, and said, ‘[MY DOCTRINE IS NOT MINE, BUT HIS THAT SENT ME]. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him’” (John 7:16-18).

The Apostle Paul also wrote to his son Titus common in the faith of those who did not do the work of God, warned him saying: “Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and [COMMANDMENTS OF MEN, THAT TURN FROM THE TRUTH]. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate” (Titus 1:16).

The house of God is not in physical buildings with different names, but in Jesus the Son, who is over his own house, whose house are we, and we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end (Hebrews 3:6).

“[AND HAVING AN HIGH PRIEST OVER THE HOUSE OF GOD; LET US DRAW NEAR WITH A TRUE HEART IN FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH], having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works” (Hebrews 10:21-24).

“For ye are all the [CHILDREN OF GOD] by [FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS]” (Galatians 3:24).

“[WHO HATH SAVED US, AND CALLED US WITH AN HOLY CALLING], not according to our works, but [ACCORDING TO HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE], which was [GIVEN US IN CHRIST JESUS BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN]” (2 Timothy 1:9).

“[JESUS CHRIST THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]” (Hebrews 13:8).

“Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, [WORLD WITHOUT END]. Amen” (Ephesians 3:21).
