We have before us every day whether to LOVE GOD or the world? “CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE” (Joshua 24:15-16).

We cannot LOVE GOD and at the same time love this world!

To LOVE GOD is to ONLY SERVE GOD is to LOVE the word of GOD (Psalm 90:2). “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING: FOR ALL LIVE UNTO HIM]” (Luke 20:38).

To love this world is to love and serve the prince of this world who hates God (John 8:44; 15:23) and LOVES MONEY! “[FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL]: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10).

JESUS, the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, the SALVATION OF GOD (John 1:1-3, 14, 3:16-18) (1 John 5:7–8), says: “[NO SERVANT CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS]: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. [YE CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MAMMON]” (Luke 16:13).

We must only LOVE GOD because GOD IS THE ONLY GOD; GOD IS THE TRUE GOD; GOD IS THE ONLY POWER AND GOD IS THE GLORY (Psalm 62:11) (Isaiah 45:5).

“I AM the LORD thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:2–3).

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me” (Isaiah 45:5).

“For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God” (Deuteronomy 4:24).

“Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” (Isaiah 33:14).

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, [CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE]; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: [BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE] the LORD. And the people answered and said, [GOD FORBID THAT WE SHOULD FORSAKE] the LORD, to serve other gods” (Joshua 24:15-16).

“GOD standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations” (Psalm 82:1,8).

The gods of this world, along with all those who love life on this earth, will perish at the end of time (Isaiah 26:13–14).

“But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, the gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens” (Jeremiah 10:10–11).

“[LOVE NOT THE WORLD, NEITHER THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD]. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 John 2:15).

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).

“[AND BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD]: but [BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND], that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [AND THE WORLD PASSETH AWAY], and the lust thereof: [BUT HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF GOD ABIDETH FOREVER]” (1 John 2:16–17).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel [FROM EVERLASTING, AND TO EVERLASTING]. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 41:13).
