“I am a child of God and my heart’s desire is to be FOREVER with my FATHER in HEAVEN”. “For ye are all the [CHILDREN OF GOD] by [FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS]” (Galatians 3:24).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God is very clear when he expressed that unless we become as little children, we will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3). Simply, if we think of ourselves to be more than children, then such thinking implies we do not need God. Just as children need parents, we as God’s creatures need God (Romans 8:20-21).
The same way
that parents look out for their children, God, our Creator, has promised to
provide for those who seek him. God wants us to put our trust completely in
him.
To think
that we do not need God would mean that we deny that God is the Creator, and it
makes us to be more than the dust of the earth, which God used to create us
all. “For we know that the whole
creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now” (Romans 8:22).
We must
humble ourselves as little children and obey God. As little children obey and
look up to their parents, so we too are to do the same to look up to our
Father, the Creator. King Jesus said heartily thousands of years earlier, “Fear
not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the
kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
“When ye
pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for
your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew
6:7-8).
“[AFTER THIS
MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE]: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom
come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this
day our daily bread.
And forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and
the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13).
In glory of
the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT. Amen.
