P R A Y without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Jesus says: “[GOD IS A SPIRIT]: and they that worship him must [WORSHIP
HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH]” (John 4:24).
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the [TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL
WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH]: for the Father seeketh such to
worship him” (John 4:23).
“GIVE ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee
will I pray.
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I
direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up” (Psalm 5:1-3).
“O GOD, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for
thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise
thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy
name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth
shall praise thee with joyful lips:
When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night
watches.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings
will I rejoice.
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me” (Psalm
63:1-8).
“Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth” (Psalm 54:2).
“Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy
from me” (Psalm 66:20).
“Blessed
be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen” (Psalm 89:52).
