Who will see God?
In the revelation of Jesus by the
angel of God to John, he saw a vision in heaven of the end of time:
“And I saw in the right hand of him
that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with
seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who is
worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?” (Revelation 5:1–2).
Jesus, the only begotten Son of God
is the only one worthy to open the book, and he will judge the world in righteousness,
and he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness (Psalm 9:8).
Jesus says: “No man can come to me,
except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the
last day” (John 6:44).
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for
they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are the pure in heart: for
they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8-9).
“Herein is our love made perfect,
that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we
in this world” (1 John 4:17).
