God’s elect must daily pray the LORD’s Prayer and to daily take up the Cross of the Lord Jesus (Matthew 6:9-13; 10:38) (Luke 9:23).
When we daily pray the LORD’s Prayer, we are seeking FOREVER the face of our Faether, the LORD God.
“Seek the LORD and his strength, [SEEK HIS
FACE CONTINUALLY]” (1 Chronicles 16:11).
“Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of
them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and his strength: [SEEK HIS
FACE EVERMORE]” (Psalm 105:3-4).
When we daily take up the CROSS OF JESUS we
are faithfully following FOREVER our Lord Jesus.
“IT is a good thing to give thanks unto the
LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy
lovingkindness in the [MORNING], and thy faithfulness every [NIGHT]” (Psalm
92:1-2).
Our Lord Jesus says: “[GOD IS A SPIRIT: AND
THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH]; [BUT THE HOUR
COMETH, AND NOW IS, WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPPERS SHALL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN
SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH]: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:24,
23).
“[IF ANY MAN WILL COME AFTER ME], [LET HIM
DENY HIMSELF], and [TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY], and [FOLLOW ME]” (Luke 9:23).
“[AND HE THAT TAKETH NOT HIS CROSS], and
followeth after me, [IS NOT WORTHY OF ME]” (Matthew 10:38).
“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and
[HE THAT HATETH HIS LIFE IN THIS WORLD SHALL KEEP IT UNTO LIFE ETERNAL]. [IF
ANY MAN SERVE ME, LET HIM FOLLOW ME; AND WHERE I AM, THERE SHALL ALSO MY
SERVANT BE]: [IF ANY MAN SERVE ME, HIM WILL MY FATHER HONOUR]” (John 12:25-26).
“[WHEN YE PRAY, USE NOT VAIN REPETITIONS], as
the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much
speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: [FOR YOUR FATHER KNOWETH WHAT
THINGS YE HAVE NEED OF, BEFORE YE ASK HIM]” (Matthew 6:7-8)
“[AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE]: Our
Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. [GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD]. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our
debtors. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the
glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13).
