JESUS’ COMING is going to be as a THIEF IN THE NIGHT (Revelation 16:15). “[THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND THE TERRIBLE DAY OF THE] LORD come” (Joel 2:31).
"[THEREFORE LET US NOT SLEEP, AS DO OTHERS; BUT LET US WATCH AND BE SOBER]. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to [OBTAIN SALVATION BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST]” (1 Thessalonians 5:6-9).
Our Lord
Jesus also says: “[IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TRIBULATION] of those days shall the
[SUN BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON SHALL NOT GIVE HER LIGHT], and the stars shall
fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken” (Mathhew
24:29).
“So likewise
ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the
doors” (Matthew 24:33).
“[WATCH]
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42).
“[WATCH] ye
therefore, [AND PRAY ALWAYS, THAT YE MAY BE ACCOUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE] all
these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke
21:34–36).
“[WATCH] ye
therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also,
being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness”
(2 Peter 3:17).
“[TAKE YE
HEED, WATCH AND PRAY]: for ye know not when the time is” (Mark 13:33).
“[WATCH]
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42).
“And what I
say unto you I say unto all, [WATCH]” (Mark 13:37).
“[THEREFORE
BE YE ALSO READY]: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh”
(Matthew 24:44).
“[BEHOLD, I
COME AS A THIEF]. [BLESSED IS HE THAT WATCHETH], and keepeth his garments, lest
he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
“He which
testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord
Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation
22:20-21).
