The Christmas Season is a time of giving gifts because we bring into remembrance how God gave us the ‘Free Gift’ of the promise of ETERNAL LIFE which is in his Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ (Luke 9:20) (Luke 2:30-32) (John 3:16-17).
This Christmas let us support the weak, give gifts to the poor and needy; “…and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, ‘[IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE]’” (Acts 20:35).
“Blessed is he that considereth the
poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble” (Psalm 41:1).
Our Lord Jesus also expressed that we must not “Let the cares
of this world, and the [DECEITFULNESS OF RICHES], and the lusts of other things
[ENTERING IN, CHOKE] the word [AND IT BECOMETH UNFRUITFUL]” (Mark 4:19).
“Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life
consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth” (Luke
12:15).
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole
world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our
God shall stand for ever” (Isaiah 40:8).
“[O GIVE THANKS] unto the LORD; [FOR HE IS GOOD: FOR HIS
MERCY ENDURETH FOR EVER]” (Psalm 118:29).
“[GIVING THANKS ALWAYS FOR ALL THINGS] unto God and the
Father [IN THE NAME OF] Our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20).
“Grace be with all them that [LOVE] our Lord Jesus Christ in
[SINCERITY]. Amen” (Ephesians 6:23-24).
“And let the [PEACE OF GOD RULE IN YOUR HEARTS], to the which
also ye are called in one body; [AND BE YE THANKFUL]” (Colossians 3:12-15).
“Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever.
Amen” (Philippians 4:20).
