GOD is HOLY and RIGHTEOUS. “The LORD is [RIGHTEOUS] in all his ways, and [HOLY] in all his works” (Psalm 145:17). “The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness” (Jeremiah 4:2).
God created man in his own image, male and female (Genesis 1:26-27). Therefore, the Holy Scriptures says: “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16).
“For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of
the LORD. But [HE THAT SINNETH AGAINST ME WRONGETH HIS OWN SOUL]: all they that
hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:35-36).
JESUS, the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD has warned, said: “Wherefore
I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but
[THE BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN UNTO MEN]. And
whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but
[WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST, IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN HIM],
neither in this world, neither in the world to come” (Matthew 12:31-32).
We must therefore thrive to be HOLY in our bodies because by
the word of God only those who have lived RIGHTEOUSLY will enter the Kingdom of
Heaven (Revelation 22:14-15).
“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of
naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to [SAVE
YOUR SOULS]” (James 1:21).
“[KNOW YE NOT THAT YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD], and that the
Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall
God destroy; [FOR THE TEMPLE OF GOD IS HOLY], which temple ye are” (1
Corinthians 3:16–17).
“PAUL, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus
Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)” (Galatians 1:1), also
said:
“Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and
the Lord for the body. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without
the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (1
Corinthians 6:13).
“Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his
own wife, and let every woman have her own husband” (1 Corinthians 7:2). Paul,
the apostle also wrote about the unmarried, widows ans widowers, said: “If they
cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn” (1
Corinthians 7:8-9).
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I,
but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by
the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians
2:20).
“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the
affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit”
(Galatians 4:24-25).
“[SO THEN THEY THAT ARE IN THE FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD]. But
ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God
dwell in you. [NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF
HIS]. And if Christ be in you, the body
is dead because of sin; but the [SPIRIT IS LIFE BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS]”
(Romans 8:8-10).
“Therefore, brethren, [WE ARE DEBTORS, NOT TO THE FLESH, TO
LIVE AFTER THE FLESH]. For [IF YE LIVE AFTER THE FLESH, YE SHALL DIE]: but if
ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Romans
8:12-13).
“[BE NOT DECEIVED; GOD IS NOT MOCKED]: for whatsoever a man
soweth, that shall he also reap. For [HE THAT SOWETH TO HIS FLESH SHALL OF THE
FLESH REAP CORRUPTION]; but [HE THAT SOWETH TO THE SPIRIT SHALL OF THE SPIRIT
REAP LIFE EVERLASTING]” (Galatians 6:7–8).
“[FOR WE MUST ALL APPEAR BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST];
that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he
hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
“Follow peace with all men, and
holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).
“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
be with you. Amen” (Romans 16:20).
