There is only ONE WAY to live in this world; and that WAY is to FEAR GOD! “[THE FEAR] of the LORD is a [FOUNTAIN OF LIFE], to depart from the snares of death” (Proverbs 14:27).
“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but [WHOSO PUTTETH HIS TRUST] in the LORD [SHALL BE SAFE]” (Proverbs 29:25).
“The secret of the LORD is with them
that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant” (Psalm 25:14).
“It is a fearful thing to fall into
the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 11:31).
“[FEAR BEFORE HIM, ALL THE EARTH]:
[THE WORLD ALSO SHALL BE STABLE, THAT IT BE NOT MOVED]. Let the heavens be
glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD
reigneth” (1 Chronicles 16: 30-31).
“[LET US
HEAR THE CONCLUSION] of the whole matter: [FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS
COMMANDMENTS]: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring EVERY
WORK INTO JUDGMENT], with every secret thing, whether it be[ good, or whether
it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).
To FEAR GOD
is to SERVE GOD whereas to NOT FEAR GOD is to serve the gods of this world!
“[LET EVERY
SOUL BE SUBJECT UNTO THE HIGHER POWERS]. For there is no power but of God: the
powers that be are ordained of God” (Romans 13:1).
“And if it
seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, [CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE];
whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the
flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: [BUT AS FOR ME AND
MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE] the LORD. And the people answered and said, [GOD
FORBID THAT WE SHOULD FORSAKE] the LORD, to serve other gods” (Joshua
24:15-16).
“I am the
LORD, and [THERE IS NONE ELSE, THERE IS NO GOD BESIDE ME]: I girded thee,
though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun,
and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is
none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create
evil: I the LORD do all these things. [WOE UNTO HIM THAT STRIVETH WITH HIS
MAKER]!” (Isaiah 45:5-8).
