We must be very CAREFUL to NOT REJECT the word of GOD: To take up the CROSS of JESUS CHRIST does not mean that we are worshiping the CROSS!
To take up the CROSS is our FAITH in JESUS CHRIST BELIEVING
in ETERNAL LIFE by the POWER OF GOD who raised HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON from the
dead after his Crucifixion and Death on the CROSS at CALVARY (Luke 23:33) (John
3:16-18)!
Our Lord JESUS is very clear when he says: “If any man
will [COME AFTER ME, LET HIM DENY HIMSELF], and [TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY], and
follow me” (Luke 9:23).
“And [HE THAT TAKETH NOT HIS CROSS], and [FOLLOWETH
AFTER ME, IS NOT WORTHY OF ME]” (Matthew 10:38).
“[HE THAT REJECTETH ME, AND RECEIVETH NOT MY WORDS], hath
one that judgeth him: [THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN, THE SAME SHALL JUDGE HIM IN
THE LAST DAY]” (John 12:48).
“[NO MAN CAN COME TO ME], except the Father which hath
sent me draw him: and [I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY]” (John 6:44).
“[I AM HE THAT LIVETH, AND WAS DEAD; AND, BEHOLD, I AM
ALIVE FOR EVERMORE], Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation
1:18).
We must always remember, the words spoken by Paul, the
Apostle to the Gentiles, saying, “[IF WE SUFFER, WE SHALL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM:
IF WE DENY HIM, HE ALSO WILL DENY US]” (2 Timothy 2:12).
“[FOR I RECKON THAT THE SUFFERINGS OF THIS PRESENT
TIME] are not worthy to be compared with the [GLORY] which shall be revealed in
us” (Romans 8:18).
“For the [PREACHING OF THE CROSS] is to them that
[PERISH FOOLISHNESS]; but unto us which are [SAVED] it is the [POWER OF GOD]”
(1 Corinthians 1:18-19).
“For ye are all the children of God by [FAITH IN
CHRIST JESUS]” (Galatians 3:24).
“[NOW IF ANY MAN HAVE NOT THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS
NONE OF HIS]. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the
Spirit is life because of righteousness. [BUT IF THE SPIRIT OF HIM THAT RAISED
UP JESUS FROM THE DEAD DWELL IN YOU, HE THAT RAISED UP CHRIST FROM THE DEAD
SHALL ALSO QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES BY HIS SPIRIT THAT DWELLETH IN YOU]”
(Romans 8:9-11).
“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy
mouth, and in thy heart: that is, [THE WORD OF FAITH], which we preach; [THAT
IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE
HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED]. For with [THE
HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS]; and with [THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE
UNTO SALVATION]” (Romans 10:8-10).
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of
God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” (2 Corinthians
13:14).
