When we pray to GOD in the name of JESUS we must have patience, peace and perservarance for our prayers to be answered in the time appointed by GOD.
“The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the
prayer of the righteous” (Proverbs 15:29).
“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” (Psalms 27:14, 37:4).
Our Lord JESUS, the only begotten Son of God says: “[WHEN YE PRAY, USE NOT VAIN REPETITIONS], as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew 6:7-8).
“[AND WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK IN MY NAME], that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son’” (John 14:13).
“And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Luke 11:9–10).
“[AFTER THIS MANNER THEREFORE PRAY YE]: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is
in heaven.
Give us [THIS DAY] our [DAILY BREAD].
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the
kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13).
