Set for LIFE?

How often have we heard or someone has said: “I am set for Life:

I am married and have two children; I have a house with a two car garage; I have an excellent paying job; I take with my family two vacations a year; I have money in the bank; I have retirement accounts; I couldn’t ask for more; I am set for Life!”


However, is such a person really set for Life?


Do you really have LIFE?


“For [YE ARE DEAD], and [YOUR LIFE IS HID WITH CHRIST IN GOD]” (Colossians 3”3).


“Jesus Christ the same [YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER]” (Hebrews 13:8) says: “[SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; FOR IN THEM YE THINK YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]: and [THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME]. And [YE WILL NOT COME TO ME, THAT YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE]” (John 5:39–40).


“[I AM THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE]: he that [BELIEVETH IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD, YET SHALL HE LIVE]: And whosoever [LIVETH AND BELIEVETH IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE]. [BELIEVEST THOU THIS]?” (John 11:25-26).


“For God so loved the world, that [HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], that [WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH], but have [EVERLASTING LIFE]. For God [SENT NOT HIS SON] into the world to condemn the world; but [THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED]. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).


“[FOR THE FATHER JUDGETH NO MAN, BUT HATH COMMITTED ALL JUDGMENT UNTO THE SON]: That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. [HE THAT HONORETH NOT THE SON HONORETH NOT THE FATHER WHICH HATH SENT HIM]. [FOR AS THE FATHER HATH LIFE IN HIMSELF; SO HATH HE GIVEN TO THE SON TO HAVE LIFE IN HIMSELF]; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (John 5: 22–23, 26–27).

“[HE THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON HATH EVERLASTING LIFE]: and [HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT THE SON SHALL NOT SEE LIFE]; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).

PERFECT PEACE. Irrespective of what is taking place and will happen in the future in this world we must TRUST IN GOD to keep ourselves in PERFECT PEACE.

“Thou wilt keep him in [PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON THEE]: because he [TRUSTETH] in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Our Lord Jesus says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1). “If a man [LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE]. [IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION]: but be of [GOOD CHEER]; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). “[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU]: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. The POWER OF GOD and HIS ONLY BEFOTTEN SON (Genesis 1:1-31) (John 1:1-4, 14, 3:16-18): Human beings who die in JESUS CHRIST NEVER SEE DEATH: BELIEVE THIS! (John 8:51, 10:19, 27-30).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).
