“[SEEK] the LORD and his strength, [SEEK HIS FACE CONTINUALLY]” (1 Chronicles 16:11).

Let us remind ourselves of these words spoken by King David to his son King Solomon:

“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: [IF THOU SEEK HIM, HE WILL BE FOUND OF THEE; BUT IF THOU FORSAKE HIM, HE WILL CAST THEE OFF FOR EVER]” (1 Chronicles 28:9).

“[SEEK] ye the LORD [WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND, CALL YE UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR]” (Isaiah 55:6).

“[I LOVE THEM THAT LOVE ME]; and those that seek me early shall find me” (Proverbs 8:17).

“[FOR WHOSO FINDETH ME FINDETH LIFE, AND] shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: [ALL THEY THAT HATE ME LOVE DEATH]” (Proverbs 8:35-36).

“[WOE UNTO HIM THAT STRIVETH WITH HIS MAKER]” (Isaiah 45:9).

“[FOR HE IS THE LIVING GOD, AND STEDFAST FOR EVER, AND HIS KINGDOM THAT WHICH SHALL NOT BE DESTROYED, AND HIS DOMINION SHALL BE EVEN UNTO THE END]” (Daniel 6:26).

“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all” (Psalm 103:19).

“[FOR SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD MEN HAVE NOT HEARD, NOR PERCEIVED BY THE EAR, NEITHER HATH THE EYE SEEN], O God, beside thee, what [HE HATH PREPARED FOR HIM THAT WAITETH FOR HIM]” (Isaiah 64:4).

“It is good that a man should [BOTH HOPE AND QUIETLY WAIT] for the [SALVATION] of the LORD” (Lamentation 3:26).

“[OUR SOUL WAITETH] for the LORD: he is our help and our shield” (Psalm 33:20).

“The LORD liveth; and [BLESSED BE MY ROCK]; and exalted be the God of the [ROCK OF MY SALVATION]” (a Samuel 22:47).

“Blessed be the LORD, [WHO DAILY LOADETH US WITH BENEFITS], even the [GOD OF OUR SALVATION]. Selah” (Psalm 68:19).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from [EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING]: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).

Our Lord Jesus says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1). “If a man [LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE]. [IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION]: but be of [GOOD CHEER]; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). “[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU]: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50). “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:9-11).
