JESUS CHRIST IS LIFE. What is the hurry? “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
When we look around us there is a sense of urgency to hurry up to live out the lifetime in this world. Perhaps, this is due to the fact that we do not know how much time we have in our lifetime.
“What [PROFIT] hath a man of all his labour which he taketh
under the sun?” (Ecclesiastes 1:3).
To REPENT OF SINS, BELIEVE in and to FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST is
the ONLY PROFIT under the Sun (John 3:16-18): “[FOR YE ARE DEAD, AND YOUR LIFE
IS HID WITH CHRIST IN GOD]” (Colossians 3:2–3).
“[FOR THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS WITH GOD]” (1
Corinthians 3:19).
“[WHAT MAN IS HE THAT LIVETH, AND SHALL NOT SEE DEATH]? Shall
he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave?” (Psalm 89:48).
“[THERE IS NO MAN THAT HATH POWER OVER THE SPIRIT TO RETAIN
THE SPIRIT; NEITHER HATH HE POWER IN THE DAY OF DEATH]: and there is no
discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to
it” (Ecclesiastes 8:8).
“If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).
“[FOR AS IN ADAM ALL DIE, EVEN SO IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE
ALIVE]” (1 Corinthians 15:22).
“[FOR GOD] so loved the world, that he [GAVE HIS ONLY
BEGOTTEN SON], that whosoever [BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE
EVERLASTING LIFE]” (John 3:16).
“[FOR SINCE BY MAN CAME DEATH, BY MAN CAME ALSO THE
RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD]” (1 Corinthians 15:21).
“[IF YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH
ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD]. Set your affection
on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is
hid with christ in god. [WHEN CHRIST, WHO IS OUR LIFE, SHALL APPEAR, THEN SHALL
YE ALSO APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY]” (Colossians 3:1-4).
“WHEREFORE seeing we also are compassed about with so great a
cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and [LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US]”
(Hebrews 12:1).
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the [LOVE OF GOD],
and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” (2 Corinthians
13:14).
“Grace be with you all. Amen” (Hebrews 13;25).
